01Information we collect
When you place an order we collect the information needed to fulfil it: name, email address, shipping address, and — where provided — institution or laboratory affiliation. Payment details are handled entirely by our payment processor and never reach our servers.
We also collect limited technical information automatically, including IP address, browser type, and pages visited, to keep the site secure and understand how it is used.
02How we use information
Information is used to process and ship orders, provide support, send order and certificate notifications, prevent fraud, and — where you have opted in — send research and catalog updates.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing purposes.
03Service providers
We share information with providers who help us operate: payment processing, shipping carriers, email delivery, and analytics. Each receives only what is necessary for their function and is contractually barred from using it for anything else.
04Cookies
We use strictly necessary cookies to maintain your cart and session state, and optional analytics cookies to understand site usage. You can decline non-essential cookies without losing store functionality.
Your researcher verification and cart contents are stored locally in your browser, not on our servers.
05Data retention
Order records are retained for seven years to meet tax and regulatory obligations. Marketing contact details are retained until you unsubscribe. Analytics data is retained in aggregate form for 26 months.
06Your rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, and you may opt out of marketing communications at any time using the link in any email or by contacting us.
Requests are answered within 30 days. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under the GDPR, UK GDPR, or CCPA.
07Security
All traffic to this site is encrypted in transit. Access to order data is restricted to staff who need it, and payment card data is never stored on our infrastructure.
